Blue Action Week (April 19-24, 2026)
Blue Action Week
Blue Action Week is PPE Kids’ annual call to action during National Child Abuse Prevention Month—a focused week where awareness turns into practical steps that protect children.
Held each year Sunday through Friday following Tax Day, Blue Action Week brings families, churches, schools, and communities together to move beyond awareness and into action.
Because awareness alone doesn’t protect children—prepared adults do.
Why Blue?
Blue is the national color for child abuse prevention. During Blue Action Week, we use that symbol intentionally—not just to remember children who have been harmed, but to strengthen the systems and adults responsible for protecting them today.
Blue Action Week is about momentum, responsibility, and follow-through.
What Happens During Blue Action Week
Each day of Blue Action Week focuses on a specific, achievable action that helps reduce risk and strengthen protection. Activities may include:
-
Daily education themes focused on prevention and grooming awareness
-
Short videos, resources, and discussion guides for adults
-
A live or recorded webinar centered on child protection
-
Simple steps families and organizations can take immediately
-
Opportunities for churches and organizations to reaffirm their commitment to child safety
The goal is not overwhelm—it’s clarity, confidence, and progress.

Blue Action Week is designed for:
-
Parents and caregivers

A Week That Fuels a Year of Prevention
Blue Action Week is not meant to stand alone. It’s designed to set the tone for ongoing awareness, education, and accountability throughout the year.
Prevention is not a moment.
It’s a commitment we renew—together.
