Statement of Faith
PPE Kids is a Christian-led nonprofit organization grounded in biblical truth and guided by Christ-centered values of compassion, justice, integrity, and service. Our faith shapes our commitment to protecting children, equipping adults, and strengthening communities through prevention, accountability, and care.
We believe every child deserves a life filled with safety, joy, curiosity, and the freedom to simply be a child. Childhood should be a time of wonder—not worry. This belief drives everything we do.
While our work is rooted in Christian values, our mission is for everyone. PPE Kids exists to serve families, churches, schools, and community organizations of all backgrounds. We do not require shared beliefs to receive support—only a shared commitment to protecting children.
Our mission isn’t about belief—it’s about safeguarding childhood itself.
What This Means for the Families and Communities We Serve
Being a Christian-led organization means our work is rooted in love—for children, for families, and for the sacredness of childhood. We believe every child deserves to grow up safe, supported, and free to explore the world with confidence and joy.
It does not mean that we require shared beliefs or limit who we serve. PPE Kids exists for all families and communities, because protecting children is a universal responsibility that transcends background, belief, or circumstance.
Our focus is not on religion—it is on safety, dignity, and prevention.
What Being a Christian-Led Organization Does Not Mean
Being a Christian-led organization does not mean that we:
-
Require families or organizations to share our beliefs
-
Expect participation in religious practices
-
Discriminate based on faith, background, or identity
-
Use our services to proselytize
-
Replace professional standards with religious doctrine
-
Exclude secular schools, agencies, or community partners
-
Minimize accountability in favor of forgiveness
-
Ignore science, research, or trauma-informed best practices
Instead, it means our work is motivated by compassion, humility, integrity, and a deep commitment to protecting children—no matter who they are or where they come from.
The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, guiding faith, character, and ethical living. Scripture reveals God’s heart for justice, the protection of the vulnerable, and responsibility toward one another.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105; Matthew 4:4
The Triune God
We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is holy, loving, just, and faithful, and calls His people to reflect His character through righteousness, mercy, and the protection of the innocent.
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He offers forgiveness, healing, and restoration. Jesus demonstrated deep compassion for children and spoke strongly against those who cause them harm.
Scripture: John 1:1–14; Colossians 1:15–20; Matthew 18:5–6
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in believers, guiding, teaching, convicting, and empowering them to live with wisdom, courage, discernment, and love. The Spirit equips us to act with clarity and responsibility in the protection of others.
Scripture: John 14:26; Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:22–23
Human Dignity and the Value of Children
We believe every person is created in the image of God and has inherent dignity and worth. Children are precious and deserve environments where they are safe, respected, heard, and nurtured.
Scripture: Genesis 1:27; Psalm 127:3; Mark 10:13–16
Sin, Harm, and Responsibility
We believe sin and wrongdoing exist and cause real harm to individuals and communities. Scripture calls us to confront injustice with truth, wisdom, and accountability—especially when it involves the abuse or exploitation of children.
Scripture: Romans 3:23; Isaiah 1:16–17; Ephesians 5:11
Redemption, Justice, and Accountability
We believe in God’s power to redeem, restore, and heal. At the same time, we affirm the biblical call to justice, transparency, and responsibility. Forgiveness does not remove accountability, and protecting children requires both compassion and decisive action.
Scripture: Micah 6:8; Romans 13:1–4; Proverbs 31:8–9
The Church and Its Calling
We believe the Church is called to be a place of safety, truth, and healing. It bears a responsibility to safeguard children, uphold integrity, and create cultures where abuse is prevented, disclosures are taken seriously, and victims are supported.
Scripture: Ephesians 5:25–27; Matthew 25:40; James 1:27
Our Mission as a Ministry
Motivated by our faith, PPE Kids exists to serve families, churches, schools, and communities by equipping adults with education, tools, and systems that prevent abuse and protect children. We do this as an expression of our love for God and our commitment to loving and protecting our neighbors.
Scripture: Matthew 22:37–39; Proverbs 22:3; Luke 10:33–35
