Global Child Safeguarding Network (GCSN)
At PPE Kids, we believe every child deserves a secure, compassionate environment, no matter where they live. Child protection is a universal calling — but the people doing this work every day know that what works in one community doesn't always translate directly to another. Laws differ. Cultures differ. Resources differ. The challenges are shared; the solutions have to be local, and the people closest to the problem are usually the ones who see the answer first.
That's why the Global Child Safeguarding Network (GCSN) exists — not as a headquarters handing down standards, but as a table where practitioners bring each other their hardest problems and work them out together.

What the GCSN Is
The Global Child Safeguarding Network (GCSN) is a working network of child protection professionals from around the world — people actively doing this work in their own communities, coming together to share what's working, name what isn't, and think through the hardest problems together. No one on this council has it all figured out, including us. We learn as much from our members as they learn from each other, and we think that's exactly how it should work.
This isn't a conference that happens once a year — it's an ongoing relationship built on mutual accountability. To make sure geography and language are never a barrier, the Global Child Safeguarding Network (GCSN) runs on tools like Google Meet and real-time translation, so a member anywhere in the world can bring a hard problem to colleagues anywhere else and get real, honest input — not a verdict, but a second set of eyes from someone who's faced something similar.

What Members Receive
As a Global Child Safeguarding Network (GCSN) member, you get direct access to PPE Kids' own thinking: our copyrighted book and video training series 'Behind The Smile' grooming prevention training, trauma-informed insight, strategic advice, and the reasoning behind our Four Pillars framework, shared at no cost. This is a knowledge relationship, not a financial one — membership doesn't involve funding in either direction. It's a place to be coached, to coach others, and to strengthen your own child protection practice alongside people who understand exactly how hard this work is, because they're doing it too.

A Growing Global Network
Today, the Global Child Safeguarding Network (GCSN) includes child protection professionals from Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Uganda, and Zambia — and the network is growing. Every member joined this table imperfect, the same way every organization on it is still learning. That's not a weakness we tolerate; it's the starting point we build from together.

For Those Ready to Go Further
For some members, the Global Child Safeguarding Network (GCSN) is exactly the right level of involvement — a place to learn, share, and grow as a practitioner alongside a global community. Others eventually want to build something more: a dedicated, independent child protection organization in their own community, carrying PPE Kids' framework and standards forward. That's a bigger commitment, with its own funding and governance responsibilities — you can read what it involves on our Social Franchise page.

Join the Movement
We're actively inviting passionate, experienced child protection advocates to join the Global Child Safeguarding Network (GCSN) — not because we've arrived at some finished standard, but because we believe international child safety gets stronger every time another committed practitioner joins the table.
Because we're asking members to help carry this work, we also ask every partner to walk through the same vetting process we hold ourselves to — a resume, a background check, and a documented history of child protection work. This isn't about suspicion; it's about modeling for each other the same diligence we're asking of everyone else. We rise together, and as we rise, children are safer for it.
If you're ready to bring your expertise to a global table — imperfections, hard questions, and all — we want to partner with you.
