For grown-ups: how to use the talk board
- Model it first. Tap a card while you say the word yourself, during everyday moments, not only when something is wrong.
- Every way counts. Pointing, tapping, looking at a card, signs and speech devices are all real communication.
- Honor the answer. When your child taps STOP or NO during play, stop. That shows their words work.
- Nothing is saved or sent. This board works only on your device, with no sign-up and no tracking. If sound doesn’t play, check that the device isn’t on silent.
- If your child shows dim light or tells you something, stay calm, listen, and see what to do next.
